Overview

First, Smartboost

Smartboost offers services in website design, digital marketing, and data science. This summer I worked remotely as their first UX/UI Design Intern as part of their website design team. The website team works directly with clients from a variety of industries at the same time and is tasked with delivering websites that generate revenue. The website team worked on a constantly evolving timeline to surpass client expectations. I worked closely with the web designer and focused on building websites to increase customer engagement and revenue. Another focus was to increase trust in Smartboost's brand and services.

Across 12 clients, I helped increase engagement and revenue for 4 and increased client control over direction for 8. All of our clients reported satisfaction with their websites to our CEO and project manager.

Next, Yaonology

Yaonology offers algorithms based off economic and historical trading data that generate buy/sell signals for investors. This summer I worked remotely as a UX/UI Design Intern as part of their UX/UI team. The UX/UI team conducts user research, prototypes, and conducts usability testing to improve the web, mobile, and tablet experiences. The UX/UI team worked in a collaborative format with a design lead mentoring all UX/UI interns. I worked closely with the design lead and focused on reducing the time to complete tasks to increase customer engagement and revenue. Another focus was to increase trust in Yaonology's brand and services.
